The Pink Lady

Since our teen years haven’t we all wanted to be part of The Pink Ladies and wear the coveted satin jacket?

I’m not going to even dig into my love of Rizzo and pencil skits right now but I did find the perfect satin bomber for myself recently from Charlotte Russe!

I fell in love with this jacket after having seen much more expensive versions all over lately. I wasn’t ready to commit a lot of funds for this possibly fleeting fashion but this one is available in standard and plus sizes from Charlotte Russe and currently on sale for under $25!!

The Boohoo Coated denim pants from ASOS Curve were another great deal for $30 but there are only a few pairs left now and they are going for $15! Rush to ASOS for this steal but I would suggest sizing up as they were tighter than I expected.

I’m loving the sunny Spring weather and recently got the pink redone in my hair which always makes me feel wonderful.

Gorgeous watercolour floral.

Easter Bunny

Happy Easter!

I hope your weekend has been filled with impossibly high sugar intakes and sweet love!

Easter celebrations are low key now that my only child has hit the late teens and while he did enjoy chocolate and I got hugs and kisses, there was sadly no Easter Egg Hunt for me him this year.

Regardless of egg hunts or sugar highs I still can’t resist a outfit with a theme. This adorable bunny top is curtesy of H&M’s plus line. I’ve scored some really great picks from them although the line is very limited. Take note: they offer a lot more online and only select stores carry the plus items.

Skirt from Addition Elle and tights, as always, from We Love Colors.

Anyone else do an Easter inspired outfit for the weekend?

Subscription Box

Subscription Addiction – April Boxy Charm

It’s Boxy Charm time again! This month’s box is the Boho Glow theme and honestly, I’m loving Boxy Charm more and more.

I’m not sure why they didn’t make this an Easter theme! Look how cute those egg blending sponges are!!!!

Totally Easter Eggs.

Beyond excited to try this shampoo – sulfate and paraben free shampoos are my favourite especially with coloured hair…plus, strawberry banana? Yes please!

Boxy Charm features a lot of OFRA products in their boxes so it was a bit of a disappointment to receive yet another after also receiving SO MANY highlight powders from them already. I mean… how much contouring are we doing ladies?!?!? But, this gold powder will likely give me a nice extra sheen once I have some summer tan so I’ll save it til then.

I was pretty excited when I saw the adorable packaging for this Allegory Story lip gloss but completely disappointed by the colour. I’ve yet to have a lipstick or gloss from Boxy that I can actually use. I will say this is more because of me though! Having super pale winter skin and pale pink hair doesn’t leave me with a lot of lipshades that work well. (Look how totally cute my nails are though!)

And finally the Concealer Collection! Honestly, I think this is the type of collection that really only a makeup artist would need as we don’t have the need for all of these shades individually but I do like that this means that pretty much everyone can get some use out of this product! I should circle back in a few months to this and do a follow up for what I’ve actually used.

If you are interested in signing up for your own Boxy Charm subscription you can do so here for only $21USD a month!

Spring Flowers

I’ve been ready for Spring sunshine for weeks now! It’s been making random appearances through my office window.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I went barefoot as opposed to warm socks and Uggs, even indoors! I’m definitely ready to bring out my Spring wardrobe now though.

I picked this hippie blouse up from the sale rack at H&M because all the detailing was too amazing to pass up! The high collar, the eyelet and the sheer back with large keyhole!!!

FYI, trying to capture a photo from behind, is the worst.

The jeans were an amazing find from Charlotte Russe which I featured on a previous Shopping Cart post. I paid $12.50 for these beauties!!

I already know these will end up being well worn throughout the Spring and Summer this year!

What are you most excited to put on this Spring?
